Live Pirate Radio Play Invites Lancaster Audience to Join the Adventure

Ragged Edge Productions brings The Mystery of the Pirate Lagoon to Lancaster on November 11, inviting audiences to join a live comedy radio play and create its sound effects.

A pirate adventure is inviting audiences to help bring radio drama to life on stage in Lancaster.
Ragged Edge Productions presents The Mystery of the Pirate Lagoon at the Gregson Centre on November 11 at 7pm. The live comedy radio play gives audience members opportunities to create sound effects and take part in scenes as the crew of The Prospero searches for treasure.
Written by former BBC radio drama producer Stefan Escreet, the show is devised and performed by Escreet, Peter Macqueen and Claire Webzell.
The production offers a playful introduction to the craft of audio storytelling, showing how performers and sound effects build an adventure together. Participation is optional, so visitors can join the crew or simply enjoy the performance.
The show is suitable for ages 12 and over. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
