Beyond the boundaries of the familiar universe lie countless possibilities. Strange worlds, alternate realities, extraordinary discoveries, and questions that challenge everything we believe we know about existence.
Welcome to Wavefront, the award-winning science-fiction audio anthology created by Jack J. Ward for Sonic Cinema Productions.
Inspired by the imaginative and often unsettling storytelling of classic television anthologies such as The Outer Limits, particularly its acclaimed 1990s revival, Wavefront explores the infinite possibilities of science fiction through independent, short-form audio dramas.
Each transmission opens a new window into the unknown. Some stories explore humanity's encounter with the extraordinary. Others venture into unfamiliar realities, strange scientific possibilities, or the consequences of discoveries that push beyond the limits of human understanding.
Guiding listeners through these transmissions is a mysterious, unidentified alien intelligence: an unseen observer whose perspective reaches beyond the boundaries of ordinary human experience.
As the series introduction declares:
Boundless energy ranges the endless reaches of space and time. Different frequencies lap the shores of the lonely rocks, crashing in silence against the endless sounds... Stories... from a million possible realities... all coalescing into a single... Wave Front!
Transmission begins...

Combining imaginative writing, atmospheric sound design, and the immersive possibilities of audio storytelling, the series celebrates science fiction as a way of exploring not just what the universe might contain, but what existence itself might mean.
