Bad movies. Big monsters. Brilliantly entertaining radio!
Welcome to Schlock Audio Theatre, where the outrageous imagination of vintage B-movies comes roaring back to life through audio drama!
From invading aliens and giant leeches to mad scientists, monsters, and impossible experiments, Schlock Audio Theatre celebrates the wonderfully eccentric world of cult science-fiction and horror cinema.
Experience audio adaptations of notorious genre favourites, including Plan 9 from Outer Space, Attack of the Giant Leeches, Bride of the Monster, Jesse James Meets Frankenstein, and The Brain That Wouldn't Die. These productions bring the thrills, chills, and larger-than-life absurdity of classic schlock entertainment to the theatre of the mind.
About the Productions
Created through the work of Schlock Audio Theatre and its collaborators, including Charles E. Pratt Jr., these affectionate B-movie send-ups were later revisited and shared through Texas Radio Theatre, with Richard Frohlich playing an important role in their production and preservation.
