Welcome to the wonderfully warped world of W. Ralph Walters' Zombie Astronaut!
Frequency of Fear Lite grew out of the original Frequency of Fear, taking the show's comic wraparound stories and transforming them into self-contained audio adventures of their own. The results became an ever-expanding universe of horror, science fiction, parody and glorious absurdity featuring the Zombie Astronaut and a memorable collection of mad scientists, monsters, villains, paranormal investigators and assorted lunatics.
Along the way you'll encounter Doctor Despicable, Dr. Wilheim Von Martinez, Professor Peter P. Picklepepper and many more as the Zombie Astronaut survives alien invasions, ghost hunts, mad experiments, dinosaurs, murderous toys, political campaigns, sea voyages and just about every other disaster that can befall an undead space traveller.
Frequency of Fear Lite has a long connection with the audio drama community, with its stories appearing years ago on programs including The Sonic Society. Today, the Mutual Audio Network is delighted to keep these wonderfully strange adventures available to listeners.
Strap yourself in, fellow astronauts. Things are about to get weird.
